What an incredible day at the pub! ❤️

The Tour of Britain coming through the village certainly put us on the map today! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ We were absolutely buzzing to welcome so many cyclists, supporters and visitors through our doors, alongside plenty of our wonderful regulars.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with lots of new faces, great conversations, happy customers and a real sense of the village coming together to enjoy such a brilliant event. Days like this are exactly what a local pub is all about! 🍻

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, we were treated to the fantastic Wath upon Dearne Morris Dancers! 💃🕺

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us and helped make it such a memorable day. ❤️🍻

The riders will be racing right past the Redmire Village Pub and we’re getting ready for a brilliant afternoon! 🍻🎉

⏰ The race is expected to pass us between approximately 1.40pm & 2.15pm, so come along, grab a drink and find yourself the perfect spot to cheer them on! 🚴‍♂️💨

🍔🌭🍕 FOOD SERVED 12pm–4.30pm
We’ll be keeping things nice and easy with:
🌭 Hot Dogs
🍕 Pizza
🍔 Burgers
🍰 And a little sweet treat for afterwards!

🍺 Hawkstone, upgraded.

We’ve just installed something rather special — a Hawkstone beer and cider tap, carved from real Cotswold limestone with a gold “H” on the front, a proper talking point behind the bar.

Hawkstone is Jeremy Clarkson’s own brew, named after the ancient standing stone near his Diddly Squat Farm. The taps are literally shaped like the stone itself, so it looks like a little piece of the Cotswolds has landed in the heart of Wensleydale.

Come and see it for yourself. Pull up a stool, try a pint, and tell us what you think.
