HEAD CHEF WANTED – REDMIRE VILLAGE PUB
Redmire Village Pub is looking for a driven, creative Head Chef to take the lead in our kitchen and help elevate a small but capable team to the next level.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Sous Chef ready to step up into their first Head Chef role, or an experienced Head Chef seeking a more balanced, rural kitchen where quality, consistency, and development really matter.

This is a hands-on leadership role where organisation, consistency, and calm delivery under pressure are key. We’re looking for someone who can bring structure, raise standards, and build a strong team culture.
THE ROLE
You will take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operation: leading service, managing stock and ordering, building seasonal menus, and developing a small team with real potential. Quiet midweek periods allow time for planning and refinement, while busier seasons bring the chance to really deliver.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
* Is ready to step up into their first Head Chef role or bring renewed energy to an existing one
* Has solid experience in fresh food, pub, or restaurant kitchens
* Can confidently lead and develop a small team
* Enjoys seasonal, uncomplicated, quality-focused cooking
* Wants responsibility, challenge, and the chance to build something better
* Holds a full driving licence (essential due to rural location)
* No egos — just a calm, focused approach and pride in the job
