Feel the wind rushing through your hair with one bold leap off our tower! ✨

The Zipwire is, by far, one of our highest rated and most popular sessions on site. With 100 metres of line to go down, it's no surprise to be honest! 😂 This adrenaline fuelled session helps you face your fear of heights and have trust in your instructor, it can also act as a perfect team bonding activity.

Learning Outside the Classroom is something we talk about often as a team. 🗣️

LOTC Quality indicators assess risk management, staff training, catering, transport, educational value, sustainability, communication, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, enriching experiences for young people. ✨ Here at Whitemoor Lakes we strive to target all of these quality indicators to allow our guests to be the best version of themselves.

Can you believe it's been over a year already since our new shop was built - maybe we can't call it 'new' anymore! 😅

Our original Harry's shop was relocated to accommodate the construction of our Adult Toilets. It still has the original charm that we fell in love with, but now has more room for storage and some new trinkets for our guests to enjoy! 🧸

In the background of every amazing school adventure, is the teachers who made it possible ❤️

For groups with participants who are under 18 years of age, we require 1 adult leader to be present, which means for school visits it's often their teacher who gives up their evenings to allow their students to release their potential. Real life superhero's in our opinion! 🦸

With recent updates to UK school meal regulations placing greater emphasis on nutritious, balanced food, let's talk about the way Whitemoor Lakes keeps your stay healthy 🥗 Our chefs carefully plan our menu to offer a variety of wholesome options, including using fresh ingredients, offering fruit and vegetables throughout the day, and catering for allergies and dietary restrictions. Because great experiences start with great food! 💚

Our team aren't just trained, they are QUALIFIED 😎

Unlike many residential centres, our team don't just receive in-house training before going out onto sessions. Instead, they are assessed and qualified through Paddle UK (who are the national governing body for canoeing, kayaking, and stand up paddleboarding ). So when it comes to safety, we've got you covered! 👍

Here's your reminder that colder months are coming, so your raincoat should be coming out of storage too! 🌧️

You'd be surprised by the number of guests who arrive having forgotten their coat, which is why we hold onto coats that have been left behind over the years so that no one needs to miss out on adventure over a little rain. Has your child forgotten their jacket? - tell them to pop by reception and we'll see if we've got a spare!👍
