We currently offer a self contained B&B apartment (booking through airb&b) to sleep 3 people and have a small 5 pitch (large pitch size) campsite for Camping and Caravanning Club members.

Camp site prices starting from just £10 per pitch per night (no EHU) & from £15 per pitch per night (with EHU), annual membership of the organisation with access to all sites is £45. We are a small family farm and our business aim is to enable individuals, couples, friends and families to have a break away from the daily grind, in the countryside, for an affordable price. We are insured for and permit BBQ’s and free standing fire pits. We have an Elsan tank for emptying your own cassette camping toilets, a flushing toilet on site, drinking water and a bin for waste disposal. We provide the basics and you just bring your tent/trailer/camper/caravan, camping gear and family & enjoy the great outdoors! We are both child and dog friendly, having multiple 2 and 4 legged family members myself I know the importance of this! We have no restrictions on your type of vehicle. We are situated in Witham valley park area and have lovely local woodland walks and views (Stapleford moor leading to Stapleford woods), we are a popular area for dog walking & cycling and our local family friendly pub selling food, ale & Ice cream (The Green Man) is within a short walking distance from the site. There is a local pizza takeaway that delivers straight to the site. We also have day fishing (Embryo Angling) in the village. There are many options for fun family days out in the local area of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, theme parks, water parks, various beaches are an hours drive away, and we are within easy reach of Newark & Lincolnshire show grounds for all their events. We are happy to provide ideas of local attractions. We can accommodate whole site bookings for family gatherings and celebrations offering exclusive private use. We also host your outdoor events such as weddings, christenings, birthdays etc in conjunction with our events company: StemGemEvents. There are still many practical cooking options that are available at our site for a great camping experience ⛺️

We are just not allowing anything that pops/crackles and gives off floating hot embers as we are deep in the countryside surrounded by dry grass, hedges, trees, fencing, wooden facility cabins, standing crop fields and an abundance of wildlife 🌾🐞🦋🐍🦡🦊🐇🐭🚜

As soon as we have significant rainfall and it’s safe to do so, we will lift the ban 🤞🏻

This is not us and not intended to cause upset but this is the reason for our current fire, naked flame & BBQ ban 🛑

We would like to thank our recent customers for being responsible and adhering to the ban🙏

We understand many of you ordinarily like a campfire and a BBQ and we do fully support that, but right now the risks are just too high - our risk assessment, insurance and national warnings means we simply can’t permit it.

We do hope that as soon as we get some substantial rainfall we can lift the ban and return to normal operations. In the meantime thank you all so much for your support 🌧️🏕️

DUE TO CURRENT PROLONGED DRY WEATHER AND EXCEPTIONALLY DRY GROUND CONDITIONS THE USE OF ALL BBQ'S, FIRE PITS, CHIMINEAS, OPEN FIRES AND ANY NAKED FLAMES IS PROHIBITED ON THIS SITE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

CIGARETTE ENDS, MATCHES, LIGHTERS AND SMOKING MATERIALS MUST NEVER BE DISCARDED ON THE GROUND.

We appreciate your co-operation in helping us protect everyone on site. Failure to comply with this temporary ban will result in you being asked to extinguish the fire immediately and could lead to removal from the site. Thank you for your understanding and support in keeping our site safe during this period of significantly heightened risk.
