Made the annual pilgrimage to Bonnyview Garden Centre to brighten up the garden. Delighted with the baskets which last for months. Just need to w**d the garden now...

It's been wonderful to play a (very) small part in this production, some of which is being filmed at Glenavon House in Linlithgow, and to work with the cast and crew, including Paul Lapsley Actor/ Martial Artist and director Drew Dobbie at WayLateFilms.

A big thank you to the lovely lady called Heather who looked after our American guests on Friday, showed them around and then dropped them off at Glenavon House. Brad and his wife Chere are good friends, and I'm grateful to you for being so kind to them. Bradley Harper is an award-winning author and I daresay he'll write fondly about his experiences in beautiful Linlithgow.

Beautiful planters and hanging baskets to brighten up Glenavon House from Bonnyview Nursery in Larbert. It's the second year we've bought from this lovely family-run business as last year's lasted well into autumn.

Field next to us, opposite the Bridge Inn, is flooded for the third time in recent years. When developers tried to get planning permission for a dozen houses here, their Flood Survey stated this was a "one in a 200 year event". Caveat emptor!
