Ballinderry Station Cottage - Self-Catering NI A warm welcome to all families and people staying in Northern Ireland to relax, have an active holiday or even to work.

Ballinderry Cottage is located near Lisburn in Northern Ireland. It was the original Station Masters cottage for Ballinderry Station, however, the main trains don't use this line anymore (good for noise but it was always nice to see a train go by with everyone waving). It is a beautiful retreat, located in the countryside, but very close to the main road network, thereby providing great access to

the North, South, East and West of Northern Ireland. This makes the location and accommodation perfect for anyone needing to visit Northern Ireland for a holiday - or even to work. The cottage is very family friendly as all the rooms are on the ground floor and there is a large secure garden to the side. Facilities include underfloor heating, 3 large bedrooms, designer bathroom suite, large farmhouse kitchen and a living room with playstation etc. Please get in touch as I'd love to hear from you.

Two photos of steam trains which were captured at the point they just happened to pass the Station Master’s House (and the cottage). 🚂

The first one was the No. 186 steam train taken on the 28th October 1967 showing men running alongside it. 🤓

And the second one shows the No. 4 taken in August 2002 and in the background you can see the cottage’s extension and a big area of soil which later became the garden. 😍

I’ve included more detailed photos of the trains too so you can see them at their best. 🚂
