On the edge of a walker's paradise, Bodmin Moor, Lower Trengale Farm is set within the peaceful countryside and in easy reach of both North and South Cornish coasts. A mile away from the tranquil village of St Neot, our 6-acre farm includes gardens, woodland and paddocks; this magical retreat is the ideal place to stay. A perfect base for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer from nearby sandy shores and romantic fishing villages to Tourist attractions such as the Eden Project. We have four cottages supplied with all you need for the perfect escape. Snuggle up with a good book in front of the crackling log burner to rest or strike up the bbq, enjoy the sunset and recuperate from the day's adventures. We can also offer the use of our Studio, which caters for larger get-togethers and private functions such as weddings, hen dos or corporate events.

There’s something rather special about Cornwall once the summer crowds have gone.

The lanes get quieter, the colours get warmer, the beaches feel a little wilder and there’s something wonderfully satisfying about coming home after a day exploring to a crackling log fire. 🔥

Here at Lower Trengale Farm, autumn is all about embracing the slower pace…

Four cosy, dog-friendly cottages, six acres of Cornish countryside and plenty of space to switch off, reconnect and enjoy the simple things.

Our October half term is fully booked, but we’ve still got some lovely dates available for November, December and beyond.

July, you’ve been wonderful. ☀️🌿

As we say goodbye to another month, I’ve been looking back at just a few of the little moments that have made this summer so special…

🌸 Wandering through the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan
🌊 Fish and chips on Looe beach (while trying to outsmart the seagulls!)
☕ Coffee and cake at Penhale Pantry
🌼 Wildflowers everywhere you look
🌅 And those incredible Cornish sunsets that never seem to disappoint

These are the moments that make a Cornwall holiday so special – simple days, fresh air, beautiful places and memories made together.

Now… hello August! We can’t wait to see what adventures this month brings, both for our family and for all the lovely guests staying with us here at Lower Trengale Farm.
