I’m selling a few bits and thought I’d offer them to you before advertising them elsewhere. I know a lot of you have asked about hutches, runs etc in the past 😊

These hutches are stackable and ideal for inside a shed. They are not suitable for outside use as they have flat roofs. They are 5ft x 2ft x 2ft. Very sturdy and well made.

Hope everyone is well and coping ok in these difficult times.

After much thought I have made the decision to not continue offering bunny boarding. It’s become increasingly important to see family and friends and to have the freedom to do so.

I have loved looking after your gorgeous beloved pets and have taken great pleasure giving them a safe, loving environment to have their holiday ❤️

A few of our customers have messaged me concerned that their buns’ vaccinations are due and their vet cannot vaccinate due to Covid19.

The British Veterinary Association have changed their guidelines and now say vets can vaccinate and neuter rabbits 😊. Please see Hollybank Vets info below. It is important to get your pets’ vaccinations up to date as Myxi and RHD1/2 are more prevalent in warm weather. Stay safe everyone ❤️x

COVID-19 - Update 14/4/20

With the continuation of the coronavirus lockdown, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and British Veterinary Association (BVA) have updated their guidelines for vets and slightly altered what we are allowed to see. The guidelines are all based on evidence and aim to protect human health whilst maintaining animal health and welfare.

As from today we will be able to undertake some vaccinations and neutering, but only when the benefit to animal welfare is clear. Every case will be considered individually, but broadly our policy is:

Vaccines – we will undertake the following vaccines:
~ Primary vaccine courses for kittens and puppies
~ Year 1 vaccines for dogs and cats
~ Annual ‘booster’ vaccines for dogs (not kennel cough)
~ Rabbit vaccines
~ Adult cat vaccines if >15mths since last vaccine

Neutering – we will undertake the following neutering:
~ Rabbit neutering
~ Cat neutering if mixed s*x group or cannot be kept
indoors

This is in addition to the urgent and emergency cases we are already seeing and we remain available 24/7. Please call 01606 880890 if you have any concerns about your pet.

Please be aware that in order to protect the health of both our clients and staff:

> The hospital remains closed to the public
> We are able prescribe medicines over the phone in certain cases
> Patients we need to see will be collected from the carpark to examine and be treated in the hospital
> We are continuing to deliver as many medicines as possible
> Medicines can be collected from outside the hospital by arrangement

Please do not come to the hospital without calling 01606 880890 first. Our fantastic team will guide you and advise how to proceed.

Said farewell to Podge, my last bunny guest for a while - going to miss that big bun!❤️😢

Obviously all holidays are up in the air at the moment but all booked buns and piggies’ holidays are in the diary. Please just let me know if your plans change in accordance with Government guidelines. I will be contacting customers prior to their booking too.
