Sparks the dragon finally arrived at the Cottages today. Thank you to the makerspace in Swindon where Sparks was created and to our son Josh for bringing him to Wales and to cousin Steven for bringing him from Trecwn! Come and see Sparks!

Just 40 minutes drive from our cosy cottages is the final resting place for Dobby the House Elf, overlooking the ocean.
This was the location for the Weasley’s house in the films and where Dobby was buried in the dunes.
This is at Freshwater West in Pembrokeshire.

Definitely worth a visit whether you're a fan of the films or not!

Even though the Puffin's have left Skomer, the seals have just pupped. The young can be seen on the rocks below when walking on the islands coast path.

Thr 1st of August marked the date when Bev and Paul have been running Talbenny Cotages for four years. So a big thank you to all the guests who have stayed with us our that period, and all the people who have liked our page. The fifth year has now started with all six cottages listed.

A big thank you to all of the guests and followers of Talbenny Hall Cottages. Since May we have welcomed 210 guests from 10 countries. We look forward to welcoming even more people next year.

Great news! All of our cottages that are on AirBNB are in the top 18. Abaty and Bythwn Bach are 1 and 2, Tree and Buzzard are not far behind. There are over 200 cottages on AirBNB in Pembrokeshie!
