Getting ready for our (now fully booked) weekend walking tour of the airfield.

We plan to warm everyone up with some homemade soup and Mrs Temple's Cheese roll aftwards back here at The Control Tower.

CTHQ on tour...

Home from almost two weeks of wonderful holiday adventures

Starting in The Lakes for a friend's 60th birthday (three day) party, then on to The Brecon Beacons - Bannau Brycheiniog and finally a sneaky night on the way home in The Cotswolds.

So great to catch up with friends, walk up some steep hills, explore castles chapels and churches. Nigel did a lot of book browsing and buying. We celebrated his 59th birthday with friends at a very special place for us.

Our heads are full of happy memories and are now very happy to be home with The Control Tower Cats 🐈‍⬛️🐈‍⬛️

Good morning from The Control Tower Bed and Breakfast

Coming up at The Control Tower we have a short walking tour of RAF North Creake - details below.

We have 2 places left and one room.

It is a rare opportunity to see areas of the airfield that are on private land and learn a little about the significance of RAF North Creake.

Saturday 24 October 2026

11am - 1pm

Optional light lunch at the Control Tower afterwards

We have been given kind permission by the land owners (Holkham and Walsingham Abbey) to lead a short walking tour around the former RAF North Creake airfield sites. Taking in part of the technical site, runway, peritrack, hangars sites, parts of the communal site and ending at the memorial.

Meet at the Control Tower at 11am

£15 per person

Optional lunch of soup and rolls £15 per person

Stout footwear, warm coats and brollies would be a good idea!
