WHAT A WEEK!🪩❤️🌶️🎸🎤

We sponsored the Littleborough Food & Drink Festival , sold out of beer from the truck, opened the outside bar for the first time this year, had Boomin in the beer garden, welcomed the Bombay Brew - Indian Street Food & Craft Ale kebab van and that's just been the last couple of days!!

A huge thank you to everyone who's visited us, whether it was at the festival or here at the pub.

A very special shout out to our prep chef Paul, who joined Simon Wood on stage for a live cooking demonstration at the festival and absolutely smashed it!

And of course, a massive thank you to our team. It's been non-stop and they've truly grafted. We know we say it a lot, but we're very lucky to have them🫶

As if that's not enough, it's also British Beer Day today. We're celebrating with buy one Hawkstone Lager and get the second half price all day. Perfect excuse to give Jeremy Clarkson's lager a try if you haven't already.

Bombay BBQ with Boomin!

Headliners from LittleGlastonBoro a couple of years back and absolute legend on the live music scene Boomin live from 5pm in the Garden.

Bombay Brew - Indian Street Food & Craft Ale will also be out there slinging out kebabs and their new Cheese Burger Samosas!!

The restaurant is fully booked now and we are not taking any booking over the phone, if you cant book online im afraid you wont be able to eat inside.

Bombay van opens at 3:30pm for those outside!!

Outside bar also open today from 3:30pm

If you driving up today please park responsibly and respect our neighbors when arriving and leaving!

What a fabulous day in the centre of the village today at the Littleborough Food & Drink Festival!

We were very pleased & proud to be the festival sponsors this year and loved that our Paul Evans was the doing the cooking demonstrations!! He and our friend Simon Wood - Chef as host was brilliant!…Plus our sister companies had a right day as the beer truck of Blackstone Catering Co. and kebab van from Bombay Brew - Indian Street Food & Craft Ale pretty much sold out 🙌!!

Some huge thank yous to dish out!!

Firstly the volunteers and legends for the organising and running of such a fabulous event and being so good to us last minute today when we had transport issues in the morning! On that a HUGE thanks goes to Pete at Bank Top Farm! When someone saves your day at 7am by towing your trucks to the event is one thing…..however when he too had a stall at the food fest so we put him back and he still helped knowing we were essentially “competition” at the same event says what truly great people they are!!

Thanks to Jarrad too for helping us out!!! What a great day!….how good was Pauls scotch egg and bombays naughty cheese burger samosas!?

Best bit is…..we get to do it all again tomorrow afternoon at The Moorcock - Blackstone Tavern & Kitchen as we have the bombay van in the garden and live music from the one and only Boomin at 5pm!!!

Don’t worry about the weather…..we have that “covered”

After our Wednesday afternoon Folk session and Thursday night Quiz its BIG weekend ahead at Blackstone!!

This Saturday we're incredibly proud to be sponsoring the Littleborough Food & Drink Festival!

Come and find our Beer Truck and Kebab Van serving throughout the day, while our very own Paul Evans takes centre stage with the live food demonstrations hosted by MasterChef winner Simon Wood.

And when the festival winds down, the party continues back at The Moorcock with the brilliant Edd Jamil performing live early evening as our official(ish) post-festival party wind down!
