Set in an outstanding location, with exemplary spa, anticipative service, confident cooking, fabulous architecture and within touching distance of the Liver birds themselves. Set beside the Mersey river, in its own fastidiously converted building this is a remarkable renaissance of a once majestic street, the birthplace of so many cross Atlantic dreams of America. By its very nature, Layla is a sophisticated fusion of styles bringing together elements of the Victorian Age, Art Deco and contemporary design. The interior styling at Layla is a finely co-ordinated homage to these periods in history, whilst at the same time representing an utterly fresh celebration of creative understanding. Mixing designer brands with original pieces guarantees an indulgent, luxurious experience. Fabrics and finishes have been sourced from around the globe and will delight even the most discerning guest. Authentic Egyptian cotton, silks from Venice and gold leaf from Belgium are features which help to illustrate the level of detailing that make Layla a truly special and memorable place to visit. Each room is individual in style and taste but identical in attention to detail and spotless housekeeping.
