🎄Christmas at Dorothea Holiday Cottage Snowdonia🎄

'Tis the season to be jolly, and we're offering discounted rates for direct bookings between 13-21 December. We can't guarantee snow will fall (although Mount Snowdon usually sports a smattering of the white stuff), but our cosy Victorian cottage is perfect for a festive getaway.

What we can guarantee is a roaring log burning stove, a real Christmas tree, stunning mountain views, and a wealth of tourist attractions on your doorstep. We are proud to be awarded 'Super Host' status by Airbnb and we are listed as a rare find!

We've spent a few days at Dorothea Cottage doing maintenance and exploring some of our favourite places including the Nantlle Ridge, Criccieth, Moelfre, and our local beach Dinas Dinlle.

The weather was far from perfect but we still managed a couple of swims and a bit kayaking in Nantlle Lake!

We have limited availability over the summer months. The cottage sleeps a family of 4 guests and we welcome 1 small/medium-sized dog FOC.

It could be said that Dorothea Cottage has gone from zero to hero over the last 18 months. Bought in a near-derelict state and unoccupied for nearly 2 decades - the renovation of this property has been a mammoth task.

The landscaped back garden offers a paved patio area and 2 higher tiers with seating to enjoy the awesome mountain views. (We do realise the garden is crying out for a hot tub - we’re working on that one!)

The front aspect of the house has an oak-framed porch, gravelled patio area and slate bench.
