Great to welcome Kelly and guests from the Female Veterans Alliance back to The Lodge for a few days of activity, nature connection and meeting like minded women from the armed forces.

Walking, paddling, bushcraft and busy indoor sessions are hungry work, so plenty of fuel is needed to keep everyone going! Step in Polly, our chef extraordinaire, who makes sure there’s always something delicious on hand to keep those energy levels topped up.

Great to welcome Amy Young and friends to The Lodge this weekend, timing could not have been better with the Womens Lloyds Tour of Britain Stage 4 starting down the hill in Llanidloes. A great turn out and atmosphere to welcome the worlds best female riders, with an amazing stage ahead, ending in Hay on Wye this afternoon.

Great to see our cycling friends Emily Chappell Rachael Crewesmith Joby Newson Donna Heath all turn out too, meeting up for delicious coffee at Cambrian Coffee & Lifestyle Store

Christmas 2026 is available due to an unfortunate cancellation. Gather your family and friends together under one food to celebrate and enjoy the festive season together in the Cambrian Mountains, mid Wales.

The commercial kitchen is made for weeks like these, coming together to prepare delicious food for all the family to enjoy.

The Lodge can accommodate 35-40 people with ease, creating plenty of space to play, relax and chill at your leisure. It’s is a holiday after all.

Great to see an ambush of Tigers from the Triumph Adventure Experience outside The Lodge last week. Their gravel adventure across Wales was blessed with perfect conditions, perhaps even a little bit too dry and dusty!!

Looking forward to welcoming Matt, John and the team back again in October when conditions could be a little bit more moist?!! 🤷

Did you know that The Lodge is fully accessible across all shared areas; lounge, studio, dining, and kitchen, making the whole top floor accessible. Guests with mobility issues can choose from a twin or double room with views across the Cambrian Mountains to Dylife.

Each room has access to a fully accessible bathroom, with an additional shower next door.

So if you’re looking for a venue to suit someone with mobility issues or use a wheel chair (powered too), then The Lodge could be the perfect venue for your gathering or event.

Lovely guided walk with Kelly and guests from the blue light services and armed forces on their visit to the lodge earlier this week. Hafren Forest and a walk along the River Severn to Blaenhafren Falls was perfect in the hot conditions.

They also had a paddle on the lake and bushcraft lesson back at the lodge from Neil Neil Hopkins

Great to welcome Lee, Joe and guests from onlystans_offroadexperience on their trail ride across north and mid Wales. The team rolled in after a very dusty journey over from Mawddach Estuary. Quick shower, drinks and a delicious home cooked dinner from Polly. Perfect.

It’s also a first for using the studio to securely store bikes, worked perfectly! 🙌🏻
