We are excited to be hosting another of our Social Biker Group Hub at The Owls Nest Tea Room & Diner located at Lower Rd, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, SA20 0DJ, Wales on Sunday 7 June 2026 from 10am to 1pm.

Our hubs offer bikers a place to stop, refuel, and feel at home. A safe space to talk and make connections, to share journeys, and experiences in life and on the road.

Over a hot drink, stories are shared, friendships are formed, and small moments of connection help strengthen the fabric of our biking community.

We are like minded bikers who can also offer support and help navigate the next bend in the road.

****NEW OPPORTUNITY!!!****
This summer, Operation Nightingale will be working with Colchester Archaeological Trust (CAT) on a coastal archaeological excavation at a historic defensive site in Essex that is under threat from ongoing erosion. The project will focus on the excavation and recording of surviving ramparts and an associated ditch/moat, along with internal areas of the site, in order to create a detailed archaeological record before further loss occurs.
The work will take place in a dynamic foreshore environment, with conditions and working patterns shaped by tides, weather, and access. Operation Nightingale participants will work with CAT archaeologists and local volunteers, contributing to excavation and recording, with potential opportunities for finds processing and public engagement.
We anticipate involving around six Operation Nightingale participants at any one time over a period of approximately five weeks during late June and July, with flexibility depending on site conditions and programme requirements.
Further details, including exact location and timings, will be confirmed in mid-May.
Please note you will need to provide your own accommodation, food and transport to site BUT will get all training on site and tools will be provided. Please express interest below. Site is in ESSEX and the offer for veterans and serving personnel
