Teilo Barn sleeps 8 adults and has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a large living and dining area with a wood burner. Tywi Barn sleeps 6 adults and has 3 bedrooms, of which 2 on the ground floor, and is accessible to wheelchair users. It has one bathroom and a separate toilet. Tywi Barn takes up to 6 guests but is also suited for couples seeking a romantic break. Families with children will like the fact that it has a cool mezzanine seating area on the first floor, in addition to a cosy lounge on the ground floor. Wifi is provided free of charge. The properties are dog-friendly, with hard floors in most rooms, and enclosed gardens. CULTURAL HERITAGE
The quaint Welsh town of Llandeilo is just 2 miles away with some great restaurants and pubs. Within walking distance of the town are Carreg Cennen Castle and the Dinefwr Estate. The seaside town of Tenby is about an hour away. NATURE AND WILDLIFE
Tirylan Barns is situated in the Welsh National Park of the Brecon Beacons. This area spans 1,344 km² and its beautiful countryside, wildlife and cultural heritage are protected. The Tirylan Barns lie off a private farm lane from the main road. The grounds and woodlands are home to an abundance of wildlife including birds of prey and deer. A small stream runs through the land offering the opportunity to cool down in the summer. Several beaches, such as Cefn Sidan Sands, and Llansteffan Beach, are within easy reach. ACTIVITIES
Glynhir Golf Club is 20 mins away, in Ammanford, Brechfa Forest for Mountainbiking is close by and the River Tywi is ideal for trout fishing; passes can be obtained through Llandovery Angling association. Star Gazing events are held at the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Other activities include archery, falconry, and cookery classes are also available in the local area. Days out for families with children include: Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm and Zoo, Cantref Adventure Farm, National Show Caves for Wales (and dinosaur park) and Dolaucothi Gold Mines. FESTIVALS AND MARKETS
Several music and food festivals take place over the summer months, whereas November / December offer Christmas related activities such as Llandeilo Festival of Senses, Dinefwr Christmas Fair, and Carmarthen Christmas Market. Other events within reach of the barns are the Six Nations Rugby, Tenby Ironman, and the Royal Welsh Show.
