As we enter September and begin to slow down towards the end of the season, we’re pleased to confirm that the draindown booking link is now live on our website.

You can visit https://www.hendwr.co.uk/owners-page to complete your details and select “draindown”.

Please note: the cut‑off date for requests is 1st November at 12pm. Any requests after this date/time will not be completed.

We have decided after everyone’s generosity that we will hold a small gathering in the community room tomorrow 2pm to 4pm for tombola, cakes stall, & tea and coffee 😊

Two off‑site caravans are now available: a 2002 Willerby Lyndhurst and a 1998 Willerby Salisbury.

Both are great solutions for farms, self‑builds or temporary accommodation.

☀️ August at Hendwr

August is one of our favourite months here at Hendwr — the fields are golden, the river is sparkling, and the whole place is buzzing with summer energy.

🐑 Sheep work is in full swing
Lambs are being weaned and sorted, ewes are checked over, and the team is busy keeping everyone healthy during the warm weather.

🌱 Fields are looking lush
We’re rotating grazing, prepping autumn pasture, and grabbing every good-weather window for hay and silage.

🏕️ The caravan park is alive
Families splashing in the River Dee, BBQs sizzling, bikes whizzing past, and plenty of happy campers soaking up the sunshine.

🌿 Wildlife everywhere
Swallows gathering on the wires, red kites overhead, bats at dusk — August is magic in the valley.
