Some people have been wondering what we would do with the areas by the decking now we have got rid of the hot tubs........ Well today was the first step of the development of that plan.

We have restoned the area with some decorative stone and it will be developed into a barbecue area ready for the Spring. One pod done, one to go.

We have 2 pods on our site and each one has a standard double bed and a small double sofa bed so each one sleeps up to 2 adults & 2 children or 3 adults.

If you are thinking of booking with us in 2026, we have an important announcement to make. After much deliberation about the rising costs of having and maintaining hot tubs and the ever increasing red tape, we have decided that from 2026 onwards, we will no longer be having hot tubs on our site. It has taken much thought by us all but we have decided that we are unable to safely offer hot tubs with our circumstances (environmentally, logistically, health wise and family wise).

To reflect that we will no longer have hot tubs, our pricing structure will adjust to £75 per night for 1 or 2 nights and £55 per night for 3 or more nights. Pricing is based on a per pod basis so is the same price for 2 adults, 3 adults, or up to 2 adults & 2 children sleeping in 1 pod.

We will now also be offering 1 night stays on any night of the week so those of you wanting a night away on a Saturday night are now in luck.

You can forget your boxing day swims, our dip was much warmer yesterday

After staying in one of the pods on Christmas night, we decided to fire up the hot tub and enjoy a quiet boxing day morning in the crisp sunshine admiring our beautiful surroundings.

Christmas & New Year stays

We have availability for stays during the festive season priced at £145 per night for 1 or 2 nights and £135 per night for 3 or more nights:
Sunday 21st, Monday 22nd & Tuesday 23rd - Minimum 1 night stay
Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th, Friday 26th, Saturday 27th - Minimum 2 night stay
Sunday 28th, Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th - Minimum 1 night stay
Wednesday 31st Dec, Thursday 1st Jan, Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd - Minimum 2 night stay

Price includes bedding, towels and a quantity of logs for the hot tub. Each pod sleeps up to 2 adults & 2 children or 3 adults on a standard double bed and a small double sofa bed.

When storm clouds appear, just stop and admire the rainbow 🌈

We had this beautiful rainbow appear through the drizzle this morning, whilst getting the pod ready for our next set of guests to arrive later.

You have to just stop and admire the view sometimes

It's our Anniversary....... Exactly 5 years ago, we welcomed our first guests to Castle View Glamping.

And what better way to celebrate than welcoming a lovely couple who are celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Hope they enjoy their balloons & banners package, rose petals and box of milk tray, which was organised by a family member as a surprise treat for their stay ❤️
