Apart from planting up, the final part of the extraction of the timber has finished. Jason, assisted by dog Rocco have straightened the 'brash' after the harvesting. Thank you Jason! Lovely straight lines, up an improbably steep bank, which can be admired from miles around!

Jason's 16 ton Menzi 'Muck' comes from Switzerland, where they know a thing or two about working on slopes!

The cameras are still capturing a wonderful selection of wildlife, look at this magnificent tawny owl! It's one of the comments we often get, guests sitting quietly outside at night and hearing the owls tooting away in the woods!

On my way back to Ffynnonau on this beautiful evening, I saw two hares, then another then another! I do hope our guests get a glimpse of them this weekend too 🐇💚
