We’re going POSH! Proper flushing loos! 🚽 🤠

If you’ve camped with us before you’ll know we are very much a back to basics campsite! In the past, this has included porta-loos and some pretty basic shower facilities. I’ll hold my hand up 🙋‍♂️, they work, sort of, but it ain’t the Ritz 😅

It’s difficult from a financial perspective to provide more than the basics, as we can only open for 28 days per year and as such, it’s just not viable to invest a lot. As an aside, our English friends/farms can open campsites for 60 days a year, but our holds Welsh farms/farmers back by only letting us open for 28 days a year 😐😤🤬🤷‍♂️ You couldn’t make it up Stop sleepwalking and take action to level the playing field! This is another story!)

Anyway, we’re always trying to do better, so I thought bu**er it, and bought two massive trailer bases to build proper facilities on. So…..this year we going to have several proper flushing toilets and decent hot showers 🚿 Still gotta build em, but hey, there’s nothing like a deadline to spur on action! Let’s go! 😅👍👊💪 🚽🚿🚽🚿

Sing for your supper 🎶 🍕

I have a dream…….chilled acoustic music and tunes as the sun goes down on the farm, around a communal fire pit. Camp Llandudno’ers coming together, chatting, drinking, eating and having good times.

So here’s what I’m thinking, if you have some musical talent and fancy entertaining fellow campers for an hour or two, then bring your voice, guitar 🎸,violin, ukulele, flute 🪈 sax 🎷, bongo drums, harmonica, heck borrow some spoons from the camp kitchen, and show us what you’ve got. Age is no barrier, so if you have a youngster with skills, the stage is theirs, we’re a supportive crowd here ☺️😄

We’ll keep you watered and fed for free whilst you’re performing. Stick you hand up in the comments or send us a DM if you fancy having go 🙌👊 Cheers y’all, Aussie Mark

Ps - The Bank Hol weekend Saturday is nearly sold out, we’re down to our last 10 pitches or so and I expect they will go today. Once they are gone they’re gone 💨

A really lovely place to visit on a trip to Llandudno. It’s a bit of a secret spot, so often quiet and peaceful compared to the hustle and bustle of town!

POSTCARD FROM INDIA

Sending you some warm sunny goodness from India campers!

We’re on our annual winter walkabout. 2023 felt like the year someone turned the tap on and forgot to turn it off! Traveling to grittier corners of our world always makes me feel grateful for our green and pleasant land, where lack of water (and most other things!) is just not an issue. It’s easy to forget this isn’t it 🤔

Too much thinking time on hols 😅 Anyway, channeling you warmth and sunny goodness and wishes of a fab 2024!

A heart felt gift from a non poet 😅🙏

Camp Llandudno, oh what a year.
The heavens did open, but we did not fear.

Our campers still came, from near and far.
And during dry nights, we enjoyed many a star.

Wet faces smiled, and campfires still burned. We all appreciated the sun, when it decided to return.

Rocks were painted by many a happy kid.
Young friendships were formed, this is what football did.

Tents went up, some blew away. Many could scarcely believe, that theirs did stay.

Mark and Josh battled the drive, to keep the show on the road. That silage trailer of wood chip, was an almighty big load.

Gaz and Alex fed the masses, with pizza aplenty. You’re a thirsty bunch, the drinks fridge was often empty!

The camp cafe, was a heck of a treat.
Proper good coffee, Bella’s iced lattes were lovely and sweet.

So many great memories, and the team would like to say, “thank you for coming, we hope you had a wonderful stay!”

Now here’s to a Merry Christmas, and thoughts of 2024. May it be filled with adventure, fun and love, and more camping for sure!

❗️CUTENESS ALERT❗️

Here’s a few fury guests from this years camp….enjoy ☺️ The Golden Doodle family group were quite a sight, a mother and four siblings, so well behaved! And how about the blind Rottweiler pup! The owners didn’t know when they got him, and when they found out, it didn’t matter anyway 🥹💙 Camping is such a fun adventure to share with our fur friends, don’t put them in the kennels, bring them along!😁 If these are your dogs give them a shout out so we know their names 🙏
