I am delighted to celebrate the news that Llandudno has officially been awarded Purple Flag status. 💜✨

This prestigious accreditation recognises towns that are safe, welcoming and vibrant after dark.

Llandudno is only the third destination in Wales to achieve Purple Flag status, the first in North Wales, and the first Purple Flag destination in the world to include a pier within its accredited area.

A huge thank you to everyone involved, including our local businesses and community groups, North Wales Police, council officers and volunteers. Your hard work and commitment have made this achievement possible.

Proud to be Mayor.
Proud to call Llandudno home 💜✨️
