Rosaire Guest House
11 Years Ago, Our Llandudno Adventure Began… ❤️
On 15th November 2015, myself, my then little girl Millie, and our two beautiful cockapoos, Mr Brambles and Princess Daisy, packed up our lives in Hastings and arrived in Llandudno to begin a completely new chapter.
And what an adventure it has been!
Over the years there have been so many highs, a few lows, plenty of challenges and countless reasons to celebrate. We’ve weathered more than a few storms along the way, but through it all, Rosaire has become so much more than a guest house — it has become our home and a huge part of our lives.
We have met the most incredible people. Guests have arrived as strangers and left as friends, some of whom I know will now be friends for life. We have also been incredibly lucky to have wonderful neighbours especially Bettie and Ian who have supported us from the very beginning and who have become very special lifelong friends.
None of it would have been possible without my family, who have been there through every crazy idea, every challenge and every renovation. I will never forget myself and my mum — who was 78 at the time — knocking down walls with sledgehammers, much to the absolute horror of our builder! 😂
We have worked unbelievably hard over the years to transform Rosaire into the guest house it is today. Every room, every change and every little detail has a story behind it.
I also want to say a huge thank you to the amazing team of people who have worked alongside us and helped us over the years. Running a guest house is very much a team effort, and we have been incredibly fortunate to have some wonderful people become part of the Rosaire family.
A very special mention must go to my dear friends Aleta and kashia, Your friendship, loyalty, support and all the help you have given me over the years have meant more than I could ever put into words. You have been there through the busy days, the difficult days and the happy ones, and I will always be incredibly grateful to have you not only as part of our Rosaire story, but as such a special friends.❤️
And a very special thank also has to go to Rodney. Thank you for your support, encouragement, hard work and for being there through so much of this journey. From helping with the guest house to sharing all the adventures, ideas, laughter and occasional chaos along the way — I truly couldn't have done it without you.
When I think back to that day in November 2015, arriving in Llandudno with little Millie, Mr Brambles and Princess Daisy, I don't think I could ever have imagined quite where the journey would take us.
11 years later, we’re still here, still smiling, still working hard and still incredibly grateful.
To everyone who has been part of our story — MY BEAUTIFUL MILLIE my family .. my mum , sisters and liz and Gustaf our amazing team, our friends, neighbours and every guest who has walked through our door — thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Here’s to the memories we’ve made, the storms we’ve weathered, the celebrations we’ve shared… and to the next chapter. 🥂
