Welcome to the Under The Stars page. Please see below to find out a bit about us, our accommodation, our animals and things to do on your stay in beautiful west Wales.
Nestled in the tranquil Teifi valley, we are a small boutique campsite offering luxury accommodation under canvas. Spend a few days with us and slip back in to a slower way of life.
Under The Stars is situated on a working smallholding and has beautiful fields, tracks, woodland and a river to explore.
During your stay you can walk around the farm and meet our animals. Why not collect some eggs for breakfast from our friendly chickens, feed the goats or stroke the horses. If you don't feel like adventuring off the farm, stay on site and enjoy the views, do a spot of bird watching or spend an afternoon fishing in our river.
As the evening draws in, come and sit around the communal fire pit and meet your fellow guests whilst enjoying a cold beer or local cider. There is also a bbq and picnic bench for your use by the fire pit.
We only have 4 rooms on offer for guests so you are guaranteed to be out of the hustle and bustle of a standard camp site. We are child and dog friendly but if you wish to bring your children, please book well in advance as we only have one bell tent and one lodge that have the room for a family. The campsite is equipped with an lpg fired, hot shower, a sink for washing up and eco friendly, clean, composting toilets.
Finished with the up-most care and attention to detail, we want to bring a touch of luxury to your Under The Stars experience. We have two, high quality, 4m bell tents perfect for couples, one huge 6m bell tent suitable for a family of four, or four adults, and we also have our most up market accommodation, The Lodge, which is perfect for a romantic get away or to persuade that "not so keen" camper that sleeping under canvas can be a luxury experience.
All our tents boast full size double, memory foam topped beds. Each tent has a log burner to keep off the chill and allow you to cook from the comfort of your canvas home from home. Crockery, cutlery and cooking pans and utensils are provided.
We are lucky enough to have some fantastic beaches close by. From the gorgeous New quay (about 20 minutes away) to the hidden gem of Cai bach (dog friendly all year round and about 25 minutes away) and the sandy expanse of Poppit Sands in Cardigan, which welcomes dogs and horse-riders alike and is around 45 minutes with a horse trailer on. We also have footpaths through the farm that connect to an extensive footpath network and are about 25 minutes drive from the Ceredigion Coastal path.
Locally we also have, Brechfa Forest, the Llandysul paddlers (for those wanting a bit of white water adventure), a historical woollen mill, The Teifi Valley Steam Railway, the Coracle centre, The Dyfed Shire Horse Centre and the famous Caws Cenarth Cheese makers and the Caws Teifi cheese makers and distillery to mention but a few! If you have a sweet tooth you could also visit the honey farm in New quay or the beautiful seaside town of Abaeraeron and try the famous honey ice cream.
Please do contact us if you would like to come and stay. We look forward to meeting you.
Dogs welcome at no extra charge :)
