About Us

Fron Rafel is a new site in the heart of rural West Wales. It has easy access via the 484 Carmarthen to Cardigan road.

Cardigan is only 10 miles away or a 20 minutes drive and Carmarthen is only 18 miles away or 25 minutes drive away.

Our site consists of 7 touring pitches and will have 2 lodges which will be built soon.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control.

We have a 7 acre site with access to walks and exercise dogs.

We have small pond close to shower rooms and space for tents.

All pitches have electric and water.

We don’t have much in the way of traffic so travelling anywhere here even in the summer is easy.

We have a local town called Newcastle Emlyn only 3 miles away which has many interesting features associated with it one being a very old derelict castle.

There are a few shops and pubs serving the local community. You can also eat in a number of reasonably priced restaurants.

The River Teifi flows right through the valley and has many good walks for beginners and experienced ramblers.

Cenarth water falls is only 5 miles from us and has the Welsh corricle centre and pub and shops.

At Cardigan you can book adventure outings of various kinds one being canoeing the river.

Also at Cardigan we have one of the best family beaches in Wales called Poppit Sands which has a lifeboat station and lifeguards during summer season.
