Our house on Anglesey is an end-terrace with four bedrooms and two reception rooms in the tiny village of Llanfaelog. Situated just outside the popular resort of Rhosneigr, the house offers the best of both worlds - close to Rhosneigr's three beaches, cafés, pubs and convenience stores, but far enough away to have space, privacy and tranquility. The area is perfect for beaches (of every kind!), wa

lking, birdwatching, plane watching and simply relaxing. The train station is a 15 min walk from the house and you can get all-day rover tickets for trains and buses. Public transport on Anglesey is not like in the big cities - you have to plan your journeys carefully, but we often have day-trips round the island. Having said that, Rhosneigr is a stunningly beautiful place and we quite happily spend our days pottering round the beaches without getting bored! Prices range from £350 to £950per week and we're happy to take short breaks off-peak, or even in school holidays if they are short notice - just ask! We spend a lot of time in Anglesey with our dog, Rosie, so will post our photos, and recommendations of where to go. We will also use Facebook for offers - like our page so you don't miss out! We got Rosie from Helping Yorkshire Poundies after our 14 year old dog, Gypsy, died and are eternally grateful to them for matching us with her. She loves Anglesey too, and as a thank you, we donate £10 from every booking to them.

A slightly disappointing start to the day as the Spitfire didn't fly right over our house as we'd hoped, but we did see it turn to land at RAF Valley and I did get a photo! Maybe better luck tomorrow when it leaves!

It's turned into an absolutely stunning day, though. Can't beat sunshine, a light breeze and an empty beach 😍

Where time slows... and family comes first 🐾

There are 2 things guests have said over the years that have really stuck in our minds.

❤ Number 1: "when I first stepped inside, I felt like the house was giving me a hug!"

This really resonated with us. We felt it the first time too. We still feel it every time, over 10 years later. This is such a special house for us. Priceless. The moment we step inside, time slows down and we feel like we've come home. We love that our guests experience the same thing, whether that is on their first visit, or 13th!

❤ Number 2: "the garden is a perfect size for poo-picking on the last morning!"

Yep! We love that our garden feels big with our spectacular views, but is actually very practical..... we ALSO appreciate that, in the mad rush to get the house ready for the next guests and catch our train home, the final scan of the lawns takes just a minute 🤣

So many wonderful things to say, about both our location and Anglesey itself, but why not come and see for yourselves!

✈ Catch the Spitfire's visit to RAF Valley! ✈

Plane spotting is usually left to chance when you're here - the Hawks and Texans are usually coming and going on weekdays (if it's not too windy!) and many of you will be lucky enough to see a Red Arrow or Typhoon at some point.

However, the Spitfire's 90th Anniversary Tour has been published, and is due to arrive at RAF Valley on the 13th April, accompanied by a Hawk T2 jet, and will depart on the 14th, accompanied by a Texan T1 and a Jupiter HT1 helicopter. All weather-permitting, of course!

It just so happens that we still have that week available!

Your dogs might not be that interested.... but you can bribe them with promises of beach frolics for the rest of the holiday... I'm sure they'll agree to come 🤣🤣

🏠 10th Stay and Counting!🐾

These smiley spaniels picked a good week for their 10th stay - they are booked in again later in the year too! Just look at those happy faces - it's safe to say they know the best beach paths and the comfiest spots in the house and garden by now! We're so honoured to be their official home-away-from home on Anglesey!

Today definitely feels like Spring, doesn't it?! We have one final gap available in April - a perfect time to visit with your multi-dog family and enjoy the more peaceful version of Rhosneigr after the Easter rush has settled 🐾

🌲CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR🌲
It's so hard to tell nowadays when something's AI generated isn't it?? But if you know Roxy, and look REALLY carefully at her paws, you'll realise this photo has been doctored! Her paws aren't chunky like a lab's - they're actually a bit scawny, tbh 🤣
