Looking for something to do on a sunny Sunday?

Dating back to 1610, The red Kennexstone farmhouse was moved from our site, to Sain Ffagan: Amgueddfa Werin Cymru - St Fagans National Museum of History in the 1950s. The Kennexstone barns then joined it in 2015.

The house is full of original furniture and other traditional items from around South Wales.

The bright red colour of the farmhouse was comprised of a mix of limewash and ox blood 😲. By painting the outside walls of the farmhouse red, it was believed that the building would not only be protected from evil spirits but that it would exorcise any that were already present within the house 👻.

❓Did you know....

We have a large dog walking field on site! So if your pooch needs a good run around to tire them out, we've got you covered! As modelled here by Rio, the Tibetan Terrier 😅🐕.

(Obviously please keep your dogs on lead around site and be respectful of other people's doggos that are using the field at the same time as you!)

An important petition that we're very supportive of at Kennexstone. Please take the time to sign if you can 🦭

We are all geared up to attend Parliament on the 17th June 2026, to meet Members of Parliament and secure action for our Save Our Seals from Flying Rings Campaign.

Please can you help us secure that action as we are just over 2,000 signatures short of our next target of 60,000?

We really do need to hit this target as it will place us in a much stronger position.
