Dolwilym is the perfect place if you want to dip into the energy of festivals like Fishguard Folk Festivalor Unearthed Festival, but still have your own space to rest, cook and properly switch off.

Not far from beaches, countryside walks, and all the summer happenings, but tucked away enough to feel like a retreat.

Not every journey begins with a destination, some start with a doorway like this.

Hidden between winding country lanes and tangled ivy, I stumbled upon this forgotten arch, standing quietly as if it’s been waiting for centuries. No crowds, no signs pointing the way, just the soft crunch of gravel underfoot and the feeling that you’ve crossed into somewhere a little outside of time.

A place I didn't plan to find, but somehow did.
