This traditional Welsh cottage is a family home to Nick and Lynwen and provides a fantastic base to explore the Island and is within a easy reach of some fantastic areas of beauty along the North Wales coast. A perfect location for those that enjoy walking, climbing, swimming, fishing, bird watching and cycling. A small, 1 bedroom cottage, ideal for a couple or families with young children. Perfect way to enjoy the longest day of the year!

Cedar Hut Sauna - Cwt Cedr

Yesterday we stumbled across this lovely handcrafted cedar sauna on the way up to Penmon point; run by a lovely local couple. Can’t believe it’s on the doorstep. Amazing smell inside, stunning views and only a quick dash to the sea to cool off.

If you are staying with us at Simdda Wen then it’s well worth making a visit.

“We’ve just come back from our first stay at Simdda Wen, and already can’t wait to go back. It’s an extremely tranquil and beautiful location (close by car to Beaumaris)
The house whilst old is bright and welcoming.
The garden is in a cottage style which is stunning with the gentle hum of bees and lots of places to sit out and unwind. It was secure for our whippet who loved lounging on the grass.
We walked to the beach and also the short uphill walk for the panoramic views.
We hope to return.”
