We’re absolutely delighted to have received another 5-star Food Hygiene Rating following our latest Environmental Health inspection. 🎉

We’ve maintained the highest possible rating for many years now, but that doesn’t mean we ever take it for granted. A five-star rating comes from the hard work, care and attention that goes on behind the scenes every single day.

A huge thank you to our brilliant kitchen team in particular. Maintaining these standards day after day takes real commitment, discipline and teamwork, and today’s result is thoroughly deserved.

We’re incredibly proud of you all. ❤️

Well… the weather certainly tried its best to ruin the party! ⛈️☔️😂

But you lot weren’t having any of it.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and supported us this weekend, despite the rain, the thunder, the lightning and everything else the Welsh weather decided to throw at us.

You danced, you drank, you ate, you got wet… and you carried on regardless. And what a brilliant weekend it turned out to be. ❤️

Seeing so many people having such a great time made all the hard work worthwhile.

Thank you for braving the elements, thank you for supporting us and thank you for making the weekend such a massive success.

🐾 BUMBLE UPDATE ❤️

We’re absolutely delighted to say that Bumble is doing brilliantly!

He’s at home where he belongs, on antibiotics and under strict instructions for plenty of bed rest. Judging by this photograph, he appears to have taken the “bed rest” part extremely seriously. 😂❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who has been asking after him and sending their love and good wishes. He’s a very special boy and we’re all enormously relieved to see him looking so much better.

Keep it up, Bumble. 🐶❤️

🎶 LIVE MUSIC & BBQ — SUNDAY 30TH AUGUST 🎶

Join us from 3pm for a great afternoon and evening of live music from Robin and The Tilly Swats, with live music at both venues throughout the event.

Here at The Hand, we’ll be serving a BBQ with Moor Farm Burgers and Hot dogs, together with mini fish and chips. Our chums at The West Arms will be serving pizza slices.

There’ll also be a great selection of guest ciders to enjoy.

Come along, bring your friends and make an afternoon of it!
