This year we very sadly said good by to the old Ash tree that overlooked the Decoy Bunker, unfortunately it was suffering a disease and was beginning to die. To avoid any danger we chose to fell it before it got any worse, the firewood no doubt will be keeping guests warm once it’s been seasoned. Now what to plant for some summer hade on a windy hill side…. Ideas welcome!

I couldn’t think of better competition to the Decoy bunker, right on my doorstep (just across the fields in fact). A joint trip between the two could always be an option!?
