Sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that leave the biggest impression.
A lovely family recently stayed with us and, before they left, they tucked this handwritten card through the door.
They thanked us for the campsite, for all the hard work that goes into looking after it, and even remembered our cleaner, saying they would be praying for her recovery.
Alongside the card, they left a few carefully chosen passages from the Bible.
I’m sharing it because it was such a sincere and thoughtful act of kindness that it genuinely moved me.
Running a small family business can be exhausting at times, and like everyone, there are seasons where you wonder if what you’re doing really matters. This little card reminded me that sometimes people notice far more than we realise.
Whether your faith is strong, you’re searching, or you simply believe in kindness, I think we could all do with a little more encouragement like this.
To the family who left this for us—thank you. Your words meant more than you’ll probably ever know. ❤️
