Since it is International Dog Day we thought it was the perfect opportunity to announce the first ever Elan Valley Fun Dog Show 🐶

As part of the weekend programme, we’re so excited to hold the first even Elan Valley Dog Show 📣

With prizes for King and Queen of the Valley, Best Trick and Waggiest Tail – there is something for everyone. Your judges are none other than our Attraction Manager, Mike Booth, and Rhayader Town Mayor, Councillor James Stuart🏅

Join us on Sunday 13th September at 2pm. Entry spaces are limited so arrive early to make sure you don’t miss out.

RIP Dolly Parton. 🤍 What an inspiration to wayward cowgirls and big hair don’t care wannabe singers. Doing it their own way not following the herd. Ahh what a queen! Sadly missed but will never be forgotten!

🎉 Water Activities Update – We're Reopening! 🎉
After nearly a week without seeing any blue-green algae, and with the small area we previously identified remaining at less than 1m², we have made the decision to reopen kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing from 9:00am on Tuesday 4th August. 🚣‍♀️🌊

We do still have some green algae present in parts of the lake, and we will continue to monitor conditions daily. The safety of our customers remains our top priority, and we will close activities again if conditions require it.

If you're planning to visit and are unsure of the current conditions, please give the shop a call before setting off.

💙 To celebrate getting everyone back on the water, we're also bringing back our fantastic Local's Offer!

❤️ Half-price water activities for residents in LD1, LD2 & LD6 between 10:00am and 11:00am every day throughout the summer holidays (proof of residence required).

What a weekend we had! 🤠🎶🏕️
Our love of country music definitely got its fill this weekend! Saturday night we headed up the road to watch the amazing Luke Combs UK & do their thang at the , we couldn’t have asked for a better soundtrack to our evening! 🎸🔥
And the best part? All this live country music was practically on our doorstep, just a stone’s throw from our campsite! 🙌
Good music, great company, plenty of laughs and the best kind of weekend vibes. ❤️
Country music + Wales + camping = a pretty perfect combination! 🤠🏕️🎶
