A pretty character cottage situated in the peaceful hamlet of Llanrhian. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard but still retains its old character. The cottage is situated close to the ancient 13th century Llanrhian church. It's in a great location for adventurous types who enjoy outdoor pursuits, climbing , coasteering , diving, kayaking, walking, cycling, or you can just unwind and t

ake in the beautiful scenery and beaches - the stretch of coastline between Abereiddy and Porthgain is probably the finest in Britain. The famous Sloop Inn at Porthgain Harbour is just a two minute drive or 10-15min minute walk away from the cottage. The south facing/enclosed rear garden is perfect for barbeques after a day on the beach. Further details indoors
WiFi - unlimited superfast fibre optic broadband available
40" 4k TV available with HD Freesat channels - can play movies from USB drives in most formats. Playstation 3 + some games available (also plays DVDs). Log burner recently installed in the living room. Further details outdoors
There is a lockable good sized store room where you can keep bikes, surf boards etc secure. The garden is enclosed and perfect for those with dogs. There is also a utility room attached to the rear of the property which has the following facilities:-

* Tumble dryer
* Freezer
* Belfast sink
* W/C
* Iron + board
Short breaks available (min 3 night stay)
Check in time - after 3pm
Check out time - before 11am

Abereiddi, where better to sit and read. Only to get distracted by 3 adult seals just off the beach and a pup stretched out on the rocks. I suspect the fishing stocks would have been low for these fishermen! Total magic.

Beautiful blustery  circular walk from the cottage.. love the October light. There is, of course, only one place to seek...

If Carlsberg did Fridays they’d struggle to match this one back in June. Kayaked from Porthgain to Abereiddy and back in beautiful weather and calm conditions. Thought it might worth dragging a line of mackeral feathers and we got one on the way back! Thanks to the lovely people at The Shed restaurant who kindly identified/filleted/cooked the “enormous” cod we caught. Food doesn’t get much more local (about 600m) or fresher (on the plate within an hour). Thanks also to Megan for agreeing to raise the alarm if we didn’t make it back by 3pm!

A lovely new cooker is now in place in the cottage. It seemed appropriate to christen it with a Bara Brith loaf. If you like baking when away from home, Bwthyn Graig is well equipped with weighing scales, mixing bowls and baking tins. Or there is always the lovely local cake shops!
