🔥 Firepit Update 🔥
Well… the weather wins again!
Firstly, the good news - it’s finally raining! 🙌🏻 And as much as we don’t usually like celebrating rain, especially during the summer holidays AND at the very last weekend of them, this is exactly what the ground has been needing.
However, despite the rain we have at the moment, we’ve decided to keep the firepit and disposable BBQ ban in place for now. The ground and surrounding areas simply haven’t recovered enough yet, so we need to give it a little longer and, dare we say it, hope for a bit more rain! ☔️
Until everything is considerably greener and we’re confident the risk has reduced, we’d much rather play it safe.
Unfortunately, the weather has also beaten us in another way this weekend… 😢
We hadn’t announced the details of what we had planned for Saturday because we’ve been watching the forecast and hoping it might eventually change in our favour, but sadly it hasn’t. So we can now confirm that all planned events for this weekend are cancelled.
A very disappointing update for our guests, but it wouldn’t be a bank holiday weekend if the weather wasn’t making things difficult one way or another…
First too dry, now too wet. You really couldn’t make it up! ☀️☔️
