Just another quiet Sunday evening at Laugharne View… 😂🔋

Guest’s campervan has a flat battery.

Armed with a jump pack, a bit of ChatGPT, Siân shouting instructions from the sidelines, and absolutely no shortage of confidence… the Laugharne View roadside recovery service was launched. 🔧⚡️

The pose suggests “I know exactly what I’m doing.”

The reality:
“Siân… ask ChatGPT where the black one goes.” 😂😂

Still, you can’t fault the customer service… or the sunset. 🌅

☀️ YOUR SATURDAY AT LAUGHARNE VIEW 🌅

Make a day of it before joining us for our Freddie Mercury Tribute Night! 🎤👑

🍳 10am — Cooked Breakfast
Start your Saturday with a cooked breakfast at The Farmers Arms, Llanybri.

🌊 11am onwards — Explore Llansteffan
Head to the beach, wander around the village, walk up to the castle or enjoy a stretch of the Wales Coast Path.

🚌 Getting back to site
Catch the 227 bus from Llansteffan Church at 2.37pm or 4.47pm and head back to Laugharne View ready for the evening.

🍻 2.30pm — Taylor’s Tow Bar opens

🔥 4.30–7pm — Smoke & Embers BBQ
Food will be served by Smoke & Embers, our professional BBQ caterers, with their cooking set-up suitably risk assessed for fire safety.

We’ll try to accommodate your preferred time or offer the closest available slot.

After 5.30pm, walk-ins are welcome subject to availability. Food available until 7pm or until sold out.

🚭 Just a little reminder: We know you’re staying with us, so you’ll already know that Laugharne View is a strictly non-smoking site. Va**ng is also being phased out and is not welcome around children or at tables. Thank you for being considerate of everyone around you.

🐾 LOCAL DOG-SITTING SERVICES WANTED 🐾

We’re looking to connect with reliable local dog sitters who may be able to help guests staying at Laugharne View.

From time to time, our guests would love to head out for the day to visit attractions or places where dogs can’t easily go — but they don’t want to leave their four-legged family members behind unattended.

Do you offer dog sitting locally?

We’d love to hear from:
🐶 Experienced dog sitters
🐾 Insured pet-care businesses
🏡 Home-from-home/day-care services
🚗 Ideally covering the Llansteffan area

This wouldn’t be a service operated by us — we’d simply love to have some trusted local recommendations to pass on to our guests.

A REMINDER REGARDING ONSITE VISITORS

Following recent 1/10 Pitchup reviews arising from our enforcement of our visitor policy, we have made the decision that there can now be no flexibility or exceptions to this rule.

Only guests registered and paid for as part of a booking are permitted on the campsite or on individual pitches.

If you are booking with us to catch up with friends or family who live locally, you are very welcome to meet them at our onsite bar, Taylor’s Tow Bar, during its advertised opening hours, where they may visit as paying bar customers.

However, friends or family who are not included on your booking cannot visit you on your pitch or elsewhere within the campsite, even for a short period.

We have previously tried to exercise discretion where appropriate. Unfortunately, when saying “no” or enforcing the conditions of a booking subsequently results in damaging 1/10 Pitchup reviews, the fairest option is to remove that discretion and apply exactly the same rule to everybody.

The vast majority of our guests respect our rules and understand why they are there. They help us maintain the quiet, secure and well-managed site that so many of our guests return to enjoy.

Please make sure everyone in your party is aware of this before arrival. Thank you.
