We are very lucky to have scenic roads in all directions from Riverbank Bed and Breakfast, Llanwrtyd Wells. Even my journey to the CBR600's MOT test this morning was via 17 miles of fantastic scenery through the Mid-Wales hills. Better still, it passed without any advisories - not bad considering I only paid £200 for it.

I got a bit wet going over the Epynt on the SR500 this morning, on the way to Brecon Classic Bike Show - but it was worth it to see the variety of bikes on show.

I had the opportunity for a post-Christmas ride out in the Mid-Wales mountains this afternoon. I didn't go too far - it was a bit chilly, and the 6V lighting on the Kestrel isn't the best on these remote roads in the dark.

Had another quick ride out to Owl's Nest Tea Room Diner via the military road, this time on the Francis-Barnett Kestrel. It was nice to unleash all 6.3 horsepower along the straight.
This week we have welcomed bikers from Devon, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Bristol, Essex and Kent amongst others.

Had another ride down to Owl's Nest Tea Room Diner this afternoon. Last week it was on the SR500, but this time I took the CBR600F3 via the military road from Tirabad to Llywel. We are lucky to have roads like this so close to home.
Maybe next week I can complete the hat-trick by taking the Francis-Barnett - but it might take a bit longer (0 - 60 occasionally and downhill).
