Into may, flowers really taking over the beds, still tulips and narcissus out, primulas just opening in places, wallflowers, camassia's and primroses. Then I found the meconopsis was opening.

Spring seems to be edging in, frogspawn today and lambs in the field. Iris's looking good this year.

Primula's in the bog garden have never been better. Took out a couple of willows and dug out a lot of iris's last year, and moved a load of primula's in the void. The yellow 'Harlow Carr' had taken over rather. Siberian iris in the grass has missed the slug attacks this year too.
