He doesn’t look a day over 80… which, to be fair, is impressive considering the amount of bad jokes, questionable political opinions and TV appearances he continues to squeeze into his day job.

Run up that hill ⛰️

Join the Ben Kenneth Hill Race on 2 August for the chance to run up this beautiful Hebridean landscape and see panoramic views across the islands.

Dating back to 1970, this iconic race is a long-standing tradition, offering locals and visitors a memorable way to take on the hill and experience South Uist from above.

We’re delighted to feature the race as part of our Hebridean Whisky Trail Adventure Challenge. Everyone who takes part will receive a £10 voucher to redeem at the Benbecula Distillery Visitor Centre, valid in the shop or café.
