🌲 ONE YEAR AT BRADAN LODGES! 🌲
One year ago today, on 29th August 2025, Julia and Edward Timpson officially took the helm at Bradan Lodges! 🌲✨
After falling for Kilmichael Glen, our mission became clear: to carry on the dream of creating a secluded, low-density haven where privacy and wild nature are central to every stay.
What a 12 months it’s been! Alongside our amazing Lodge Manager, Zoe, we’ve loved meeting so many warm and engaging guests. Together, we’ve celebrated:
💍 1 Romantic Proposal, 💒 1 Micro-Wedding, 🥂 2 Minimoons, 🎂 10 Big Birthdays and🍾 4 Special Anniversaries
Some of our most exciting achievements have been:
💻 Fresh Branding & Website, ⚡ New EV Charger (no more range stress for guests!), 🐕 Upgraded Deck at Pine Marten including secure dog gates.
We’ve also loved getting to know our brilliant neighbours, friends, and local businesses who help make this corner of Scotland so special. A huge shoutout to next door Kirnan Estate with their burgeoning sustainable venison business, Polly’s Coffee Stop at Loch 10 on the Crinan Canal for serving up the absolute best coffee in Argyll, and The Secret Baker, who crafts our incredible bespoke cakes, afternoon tea boxes, and breakfast hampers for our guests! 🍰☕🥩
Our four-legged guests have been a highlight too (our own Border Terrier, Lucas, gives his full approval! 🐾), including celebrity dog-influencers Skye, Jake, Sully, Odin, and Moose.
To everyone who stayed with us this past year, THANK YOU for making our first year so magical. We have big plans brewing for 2027, so keep watching. But for now, we’re raising a glass to Year One! 🥂
