Wednesday Wellness.

Loads of folk have been asking if the sea is reachable from the sauna, it is, and that's a big part of why our sessions run for 75 minutes.

If your body's up for it, try alternating between the heat and a cold dip. The contrast triggers a flood of endorphins, it's one of the oldest wellness protocols going. I usually go for a sea dip between 45-60 mins, then have a last blast of heat to finish the session off.

Miracle Gro or not (and we do agree with all that's said) what we do also know is this wet weather we are having just now makes it a perfect time to hit the sauna from theloyly.co

Sessions still available over the next few days but filling up and you can book at short notice on the day by popping into the office or calling us on 01571 855377 and afterwards sit around the fire relaxing in our "Sitooterie" for a while

For the gardeners out there. Miracle- Gro for the brain?

Heat stress triggers the release of BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor.) Scientists sometimes call it Miracle-Gro for the brain. It supports neuroplasticity, mood regulation, and has been studied in the context of depression.

From my own personal experience after a long day. Getting a blast in the Sauna helps me right out.

We've been a little quiet on FB and socials the last week or so as we've been working hard to keep giving you the very best experience we can when you stay with us.

Along with the fantastic addition of theloyly.co sauna we've rebuilt our outside water sports area and added in a completely contained "sitooterie" to keep everyone warm and cosy around the nightly firepit when the weather is not playing ball.

For those that have managed to get booked in the happy smiling faces have said it all.

A rare opening at these lovely chalets just along the road from the campsite and well worth considering if camping isn't your thing or you cannot get booked here. You won't be disappointed.

If you cannot get booked into the campsite or it isn't your thing this is the next best option for some luxury. Situated right next to the campsite so great for visiting friends who might be staying there and you'll have access to the the new sauna facilities onsite at theloyly.co as well. What's not to like?
