Had a fabulous day out at Whitby yesterday, there is a 'Dracula at Whitby' experience running at the abbey (check English heritage website for dates/times) so worth the entry fee. An hour and a half of brilliant entertainment. 🤩

Despite our desire to retire (!!) we have opened the calendar for Bridge House to April 2027.
We hope to see many familiar faces return and also to greet many new guests at our charming cottage.

We took a drive to Falling Foss yesterday, we had a lovely walk through the forests and enjoyed a cream scone and iced coffee in the Tea Garden.
A great place to relax when it's hot, take a paddle in the river or sit in the shade of trees. There are a few routes you can take, some slightly harder than others.
Come and stay at Bridge House Loftus and ask us about the walks and directions.

We had a nice walk down to the Skinningrove today. Glorious weather, miles of unspoilt beach to relax and enjoy and friendly locals. We are so fortunate to live in this fabulous part of the world, and very happy that we get to share it with our Guests at Bridge House, Loftus.
