Room to make Shoreditch your own.

Step inside one of our two-bedroom apartments: open-plan living, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and your own private outdoor space, with Shoreditch just beyond the door.

Shoreditch during Design Week.

For a few days, the neighbourhood became an open-air gallery, with installations, exhibitions and collectible design appearing across the streets and spaces surrounding Eight Apartments.

From rethinking waste through design to new furniture, lighting and emerging makers, we explored just a few of the pieces that caught our eye, all within minutes of the apartments.

One of the reasons we love being based here: there’s nearly always something new happening just beyond the front door.

On the Doorstep | Connectivity Matters

Just opposite Eight Apartments, Connectivity Matters transforms the C**t Technology Services building into one of Shoreditch’s most ambitious pieces of public art.

Created by 16 artists as part of the Meeting of Styles festival, the artwork explores the many ways we connect - with each other, with technology and with the natural world.

Find it where King John Court meets New Inn Yard, just moments from Eight Apartments.

One of the best ways to experience Shoreditch is simply on foot.

From hidden green spaces and historic markets to neighbourhood restaurants, local pubs and rooftop views, some of East London’s most characterful spots are just a short walk from The Eight Apartments.

This month’s neighbourhood guide follows a summer evening through Shoreditch, stopping at a few of our favourite places along the way.

Where would you head first?

On the doorstep: the site of the original playhouse.

When the lease on The Theatre expired in 1598, the building was dismantled and its timbers were transported across the Thames to help construct The Globe.

Today, Shoreditch still carries traces of this history, from the Shakespeare statue and Romeo & Juliet mural to hidden quotations woven throughout the neighbourhood.

A different side of Shoreditch, within sight of The Eight Apartments.
