Since this was delivered a few weeks ago, we’ve been really impressed with the recent upgrades on the DJI RS5. Most notably, the Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module lets you frame and track any subject directly from the gimbal’s touchscreen, keeping it precisely positioned, including with face recognition.

There are also updates to peak motor torque, now up by 50% over the previous model, and automated axis locks, which secure the gimbal on power off and release instantly on power on, meaning no need to rebalance!

Our 10 set of TLS rehoused Canon FD's are now available for hire 👋

These lenses are among the few genuinely vintage optics capable of covering full frame sensors. Created for still photography, they were not suitable for cinema use in their standard form. TLS addressed this by completely rehousing the lenses, transforming them into practical tools for filmmakers. The result is a more accessible alternative to the Canon K-35 series, while also expanding the available focal length options beyond the relatively limited K-35 lineup.

As part of the rehousing process, TLS incorporates a circular iris with 14 to 16 blades, depending on the lens. This design produces consistently smooth, rounded bokeh across all aperture settings, enhancing the overall cinematic character and aligning visually with the look of the Canon K-35 lenses. The new housing also features a non linear cam focus system applied across the full range, including lenses with floating elements, improving focus control and usability. Our 10 set includes:

🎓 NEW MENTOR: Tom Ringsby (Director, Intergalactic Studios)

We’re delighted to welcome Tom Ringsby as a mentor at FOMO House!

Tom is a photographer and filmmaker whose work blends a documentary sensibility with cinematic storytelling, often sitting somewhere between the intimate and the epic.

His projects have taken him around the world, photographing street footballers in Medellín, fire-breathing acrobats in Accra, wrestlers in Yorkshire, models in New York, Elvis impersonators in Cardiff, rappers in Seoul and punks in Cape Town, among many others.

Tom will be joining us at FOMO House to share some of the lessons he’s learned working across different cultures, communities and creative disciplines.

We’ve got DJI's Master Wheels 😄

Super smooth, super precise control for remote camera movement. Each wheel has its own toggle switch for gimbal direction, plus dials to tweak speed, smoothness and damping.

The main console makes it easy to keep an eye on everything and adjust settings quickly, with a few custom buttons to make life even easier.

It’s all modular too, so you can detach the wheels and control modules and run them separately when space is tight.

You also get dual-frequency wireless (2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz) with up to 3km range. Works with Ronin 2, RS4/5, Ronin 4D's and even third party gimbals via S-BUS.

🎓 NEW MENTOR: Arthur Mulhern ISC

We’re delighted to welcome Arthur Mulhern ISC as a mentor at FOMO House.

Arthur is an Irish cinematographer who has worked internationally across commercial, narrative and documentary projects. His feature credits include The Hatton Garden Job, The Belly of the Whale, and the Emmy-nominated documentary No Greater Law.

More recently, Arthur has photographed episodes of Season 4 of Industry, Nightsleeper for the BBC, and the period drama The Hardacres for Channel 5. He also served as 2nd Unit DoP on the upcoming season of The Night Manager.

Arthur will be joining us at FOMO House to share some of the lessons he’s learned working across film, television and commercial production.
