A weekend of sport and after three heatwaves in the capital already this summer, there are cooler weather conditions after a full morning of heavy rains but the clouds are clearing away this afternoon!

A first win for the Lions in the first Test, beating the Aussies 27-19. Back here in the capital there are the Diamond League athletics at London stadium today.

Then. Tonight, it’s fight night for the Heavyweight Boxing Championship of the Workd in a super contest between Usyk and Dubois under the famous Wembley stadium arch!

For our valued guests joining us in the very heart of Central London’s fabulous West End for a hotel stay based on a Room Only basis, or perhaps for additional hotel visitors, then for just £16 per head we have a delicious offer of ten hot beverages including a range of great tasting “Bean to Cup” coffees, teas plus hot chocolate to choose from.

We have a delicious range of pastries, croissants with preserves, breads for toasting, breakfast fruits and yoghurts, meats and cheeses, hard boiled eggs and pickles for those with a more savoury taste preference to choose from.

We move into the high summer season with concerts, sporting excellence and pageantry in the capital after today’s pomp and ceremony as we celebrated the official King’s birthday.

The ladies play Queen’s Club this week and Men’s next, Bath defeated Leicester at Twickenham, cricket at Lord’s, Beyoncé plays Tottenham once again today and Monday, so get your cowboy hats and boots on and join the party in this lovely sunshine!

Royal Ascot horse racing beckons next week and we once again expect elegant morning dress and summer frocks and hats to be in abundance in the West End.

With the sun beaming down on Wembley Stadium this fine Saturday morning, this is a huge sporting weekend for the Women’s and Men’s Challenge Cup finals this morning and afternoon respectively.

We expect to welcome Rugby League fans to come and sample the Astor Court Hotel experience where we start the day already full to the rafters!

Then, World Cup qualifiers continue with Andorra hosting England in Barcelona tonight with a 5pm kick off.

London is bathed in beautiful sunshine this first of two weeks of school half term holidays with North versus South encounters both days this weekend as Crystal Palace host Manchester City today in the Men’s FA Cup, followed by Chelsea hosting Manchester United in the Women’s FA Cup under the famous arch of Wembley, tomorrow lunchtime.

We host footy fans over the weekend ahead to enjoy 180 minutes plus of fine football action whether it be at the famous Wembley or on the tvs of a vast array of West End bars and restaurants.

Come and enjoy the atmosphere this half term and throughout the month of May.
