Filled with gratitude and love for the magical moments at MAJU last week. Pals & hosted a blissful yoga retreat, and on Friday evening when the sun was setting, we were blessed with the sweet sounds of .

We fed the masses on Saturday night and Sunday lunch with double b2b feasts.

We were lucky enough for to throw a 50th for the gorgeous and what an epic time we all had!

For starters, we had the Dorset’s local legend Jim Etherington play the most divine 3 hour set when the sun was setting and the fire was roaring.

For mains, Tom’s Tub catered for 48 guests, for the birthday feast of all feasts with the dream team.

For dessert, (after dessert) the guests danced it all off at the silent disco in the marquee.

A fabulous 50th, with a great bunch of guests 🪩

Introducing this gorgeous human - Ella, our local yoga teacher.

After training in Costa Rica, Ella now teaches and lives in Devon.
Her styles vary from restorative yin yoga, to rhythmic vinyasas & power flows Combining creative and dynamic sequencing with a playful, warm nature.
Her intention is to encourage self-belief and confidence and help you build a practice that grounds and inspires you to be introspective, and to tune in to what makes your soul happy.

Join her on weekly Saturday mornings at 10:30AM, for some yummy flow time and dreamy savasanas at MAJU. Alternative days/times on request.

We're buzzing to share that we're teaming up with Tom Morell as our MAJU chef this summer, for all your foody needs.

Local Lyme lad and forgaging enthusiast, Tom is an exciting addition to our MAJU family.
In 2013, he mastered Masterchef making it to the semi-finals.
Michelin Star trained, Tom worked in a variety of fabulous fine-dining restaurants across the UK.
In most recent years, he was a cookery school teacher at the beloved River Cottage and now he's taking his talents from the kitchen to the field.

If you're looking for something a little different, join us for the ultimate dinner party overlooking Devon valley and sea scapes under an Indian Canopy. Book in a weekend at MAJU, featuring a Saturday night 3-course feast with Tom. Locals also welcome!

Meet Sam Harman, yoga guru, meditation master, and a close pal of MAJU HQ.

We are ecstatic that Sam will be co-hosting a heavenly yoga retreat on the 24-27th July this Summer on site. (Follow the link on Sam’s instagram page to find out more).

In 2019 , Sam travelled to the birthplace of Yoga, the spiritual city of Rishikesh in India to learn the holistic Akhanda style of Yoga. Here Sam completed his YTT at Anand Prakash Ashram, under the teachings of world-renowned Yogi, Yogrishi Vishvketu. Sam teaches Hatha yoga to encourage the student to connect the breath and consciously inhabit the body.

Our guests are always big fans of our deliciously comfy beds and spacious tents.
Unlike most bell tents where the light seeps in for an early rude awakening, the darker canvas and patterned lining on our tents keeps the light at bay for longer. (It’s been said this works wonders on children too ✅)
The only problem we often face when staying in our tents, is we’re often too excited to sleep! 🤩
