Meet the team: Samvida Mahmud, Front of House Manager

What started as 'just a job' in hospitality became a career Samvida can't imagine leaving, and she's been part of Sun Street's story since before we opened our doors.

Her mornings start with coffee (obviously), a team catch-up, and a check for any guests celebrating something special, because the little touches are never an accident here.

Ask her what guests don't see, and she'll tell you how much this team genuinely cares. That's the bit that doesn't show up on the room service menu.

Five years married. One perfect stay.

Balloons and chocolates waiting in the room. Ch*****ne on arrival. A junior suite, this guest called the best hotel room in the UK they've ever stayed in, with a comfy bed, huge bath, Nespresso and cold milk in the fridge, a Roberts radio already playing when they walked in.
