This is a perfect little studio ideally located within a few moments of all the local conveniences in Bayswater and Westbourne Grove.
Small studio, 20m2 (215 sq.ft) with kitchenette, bathroom. Clean, Very bright -
Double bed, desk, 4 dining chairs, an armchair, TV, internet. Bright and airy.
Excellent location: Two minutes from the entrance to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The same to many buses and Lancaster Gate tube station.
Very good value for money and excellent location.
NOTE: The studio has just been painted, had a new floor put down, lights changed, curtains cleaned, new blinds. It is a very bright, comfortable base for 1 to 2 people.
The studio is self contained so the bathroom is within the studio.
HOWEVER - NOTE: The bathroom is old but functional and clean of course. Please note that the bath tub enamel is thin and discoloured but not dirty.
Restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, launderette - all within a very short distance.
Five tube (underground) lines are within a five minute walk: Lancaster Gate is just a few minutes walk and is on the Central Line - 1 stop to Marble Arch, two to Bond Street.
Paddington is less than a five minute walk and is where you will find the Circle, District, Bakerloo, and Hammersmith and City lines.
The Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect are also here.
Many, many buses.
However, you can walk, within half an hour, to Notting Hill, Portobello Road, Kensington, South Kensington (for museums and the Albert Hall), Knightsbridge (Harrods), Mayfair, Oxford Street.
This really is a superb location for getting to see London.
The area is known as Lancaster Gate, Bayswater or Paddington as it is on the border. You are minutes away from Kensington Gardens (Kensington Palace and Peter Pan fame) and also Hyde Park. You can walk to Notting Hill.
