Mysterious Footprints at Willow Tree leaving visitors baffled.

Visitors have been left baffled this week after a series of unusually large footprints were discovered across the grounds at Willow Tree. The footprints were first sighted earlier in the week and have been difficult to identify.

They have been spotted in muddy areas and soft ground, forming what appears to be a wandering trail.

However, some specialists called in to assess the situation has offered a surprising explanation.

While it may sound unlikely, the characteristics are consistent with elephant footprints.

Naturally, this has raised even more questions than answers. There have been no reports of missing elephants from nearby zoos.

Meanwhile, the mystery continues to grow. Could there really be unexpected visitor roaming Willow Tree?

Have you seen our gorgeous benches?

We had three carved benches specially designed for us. The Carver, Nick Garrett is a chainsaw artist and the design comes from his imagination.

One represents Squirrel, one is called ‘Willow’ - a medieval woodland spirit, and the third is The Archers, whichd shows two female archers guarding the bench.

The funding came from the estate of Hilarie Lemon, a much loved leader from Ruislip-Northwood Division, who loved bringing her girls camping at Willow Tree site.

These benches and works of art will keep Hilarie’s memory with us and give our campers and archers somewhere special to rest a while.

Archery is a popular activity with the units but we are only able to meet demand if we have more instructors.

If you are interested we will arrange for you to attend a two day Archery GB Instructor course which will give you the underpinning knowledge to run taster and have a go-sessions.

Our activities co-ordinator Jess canvasses instructors for their availability and there are always two or more instructors at any one session.
