In Arabic Habib means my friend - and people arrive as guests in my flat as strangers but invariably leave as friends. You can take a look at my two listings here

Go & See
This week the brilliant People, Places, Things returned to Wyndham's Theatre, London. Denise Gough gives an incredible performance as Emma arriving in rehab after multiple substance abuse. Due to it's popularity, the National Theatre production has now been extended until 18th June. I'd definitely recommend seeing it if you can!

In London right now:

There is an incredible free photography exhibition of Steve McCurry’s work at Beetles and Huxley near Picadilly Circus. He is a photojournalist who has been telling stories through photography since the 1970’s. His work has taken him around the world, capturing powerful photographs from war zones, refugee camps, monsoons and more.

The exhibition is only on until Sat 19th March, I'd definitely recommend seeing it if you can!

Something for the weekend:

One of my favourite annual exhibitions is the at the National Portrait Gallery in London. I went along yesterday and was in awe at the quality of the photographs on show. Powerful storytelling. Go see.

Sorry for my Facebook silence I was at the conference in Paris which brought together 5 thousand hosts to share ideas, insights and to build the host community. As you are aware the attacks in Paris brought the conference to an early end. It was a sad and shocking time to be in Paris at this time. When I got home I had been left this lovely letter from my latest guest who had been staying in my place while I was away.

So much to do in London & lots coming up this Autumn.

Tonight I spent the evening at the National Portrait Gallery in Central London to see Audrey Hepburn - Portraits of an Icon. Again. I love Audrey and the exhibition was fabulous.

Do try and see it if you can.

Sorry for my Facebook silence. I don't know where the time has gone. But it's probably been because I've been out and about and over the next few days I'll update you with the things to see in London Town from Audrey Hepburn at the National Portrait Gallery to the new season at the Southwark Playhouse....

But for now......if you can beg, borrow or steal a ticket to see What's It All About Bacharach Reimagined at the Menier Chocolate Factory do see it. It really is absolutely fabulous.

Lucky I got a ticket. I hope you do too.

I love this time of year in London and exploring new places and catching up with friends who seem more relaxed as working lives seem to be a tad more relaxed.

I see I'm not alone and I thought I'd share this blog from my friend Kirsty who just visited on of my favourite places in London. St Katherine's Dock.

Happy reading!

I've lived in London eleven years and I'm still surprised when I discover new places. As the weather's really nice this weekend, we decided to go to Brighton on Saturday. Until I remembered I had a...
