Christmas tables have a habit of filling up long before December arrives.

This year, gather around the table at The Dixon for a three-course festive menu, with starters including silky Jerusalem artichoke velouté, cured salmon or duck terrine, followed by roast turkey with all the trimmings, stone bass or root vegetable coulibiac.

Finish with Christmas pudding, dark chocolate mousse tart or caramelised pineapple.

Three courses, £59 per person.

A little early to feel festive, perhaps. Not too early to get Christmas in the diary.
