If you’ve visited Sumners over the years, chances are you’ve met Lee.

Around here, there’s a saying…

“Lee will fix it.”

If you’ve met Lee, you’ll probably know exactly why.

Always ready with a smile, happy to lend a hand, and never too busy for a chat, Lee has become a familiar face to so many of our guests.

When we asked Lee what he loves most about Sumners, his answer said it all.

“Meeting so many lovely people.”

Because to Lee, “it doesn’t feel like a job, it feels like a community of people enjoying their job.”

Lee is a huge part of what makes Sumners, Sumners.

So thank you Lee, for being you.

Tomorrow evening is looking rather special… 🌙✨

Wherever you’re choosing to watch the eclipse from, please make sure you’re viewing safely and have specialist eclipse glasses before looking towards the Sun.

UPDATE: We’ve now sold out of all our eclipse glasses!

All proceeds will be donated to lovely Ada, the daughter of a family friend of the Smith family, who was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma at just six weeks old.

Her family are raising £100K to help Ada access a maintenance drug called DFMO, which can help reduce the chance of her cancer relapsing.

Thank you to everyone who donated and purchased a pair, your support is truly appreciated 🤍.

Although the glasses have now sold out, donations for Ada are still very welcome. For more information about Ada, her story and how you can support her, please follow the link below.

Please remember to view the eclipse safely and only look towards the Sun with specialist eclipse glasses.

See you under the sky! 🌙✨

We’ve been waiting to share this one… 🎬

Earlier this summer, we were delighted to welcome Princess, Junior, and Peter Andre to Sumners Ponds for a family fishing trip, filmed as part of The Princess Diaries. It was a pleasure to have Sumners Ponds chosen for such a special occasion, with our bailiff, Luke, on hand throughout to offer guidance and help the family enjoy their time on the lakes.

These behind-the-scenes moments were kindly captured by a member of the production crew, and now that the episode has aired, we’re so pleased to finally be able to share them with you.

Have you watched the episode yet?
